Cristiano Ronaldo said he is motivated to win more trophies with Real Madrid after firing them to Club World Cup success against Gremio on Saturday.

The 32-year-old Portugal international scored a free-kick on 53 minutes to seal a 1-0 win in Abu Dhabi as Los Blancos became the first team to win the title in successive years and matched Barcelona on three overall triumphs in the tournament.

I still feel strong enough to continue my trajectory as a player and to win trophies, which is what I like most.

Ronaldo, who secured his fifth Ballon d'Or earlier this month, has now won five trophies with Real in 2017 following on from success in the Champions League, La Liga, Uefa Super Cup and Spanish Super Cup, while coach Zinedine Zidane has guided the Spanish giants to eight titles since taking charge in January 2016.

Real are currently fourth in the Spanish La Liga and eight points behind Barcelona, while they have been drawn to face big-spending Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 of the Champions League.

However, Ronaldo insisted after Saturday's win that he is focused on helping the team claim some more silverware this season.

He said: "I am very happy, I remain very motivated to keep winning things at a collective and individual level.

"I still feel strong enough to continue my trajectory as a player and to win trophies, which is what I like most."

Real Madrid are 4500/1 to retain their La Liga title this season, while they are available at 4/6 to make it three successive Champions League wins.
