Duo could miss semi-final
England Under-21 manager Aidy Boothroyd will hand late fitness tests to Nathan Redmond and Nathaniel Chalobah to see if they can play against Germany.
Both players picked up injuries during the 3-0 victory against hosts Poland last Thursday, a result that confirmed England's place in the semi-finals of the European Under-21 Championship.
Boothroyd is expecting a difficult match on Tuesday against the Germans, who qualified for the last four as best group runners-up after they lost 1-0 to Italy last week.
Italy will face Spain in the other semi-final. England are 21/10 to beat Germany and reach the final, while Spain are 8/13 to triumph against Italy.
"It's exciting," said former Watford, Colchester United, Coventry City and Northampton Town boss Boothroyd.
"It will be tough, but I think it will be a really good game for the neutral and if we stick to the game plan then we have a good chance of getting through.
"We know this is a massive test for us, a lot of their players are regulars for their teams against men in top leagues whereas a lot of our guys are just breaking through and getting into their teams."
