Leicester City boss Clause Puel has admitted that Ahmed Musa could leave the club this month but hopes Islam Slimani stays.
Musa has only played one game for the Foxes this season, against Sheffield United in the EFL Cup in August.
The 25-year-old Nigerian moved to the King Power Stadium in a £16.6million deal from CSKA Moscow 18 months ago but has only found the net twice in 21 Premier League games for the club.
Puel said of Musa: "We will see. Perhaps it could be a possibility. We will see with the player and the opportunity for the club also. I need to have discussions about some players."
Meanwhile, Puel said of Slimani, who played in Saturday's 0-0 FA Cup third-round draw at Fleetwood Town: "This period is always a difficult period with speculation about different players.
"I am happy with Slim. We have a lot of strikers and offensive players and we need to have good balance to give them game time."
Jamie Vardy missed Saturday's game against former club Fleetwood, who are 1/1 to finish in the top six in League One this season, because of injury.
Meanwhile, Leicester, 1/200 to finish in the top half of the Premier League this season, are 1/1 to beat Chelsea next weekend and 1/1 to win the Stamford Bridge clash 2-1.
