Maguire aims to end Foxes hoodoo

Leicester City central defender Harry Maguire is keen to try and help his side finally get their hands on the FA Cup this season.

The Foxes have lost in the final on four occasions, the most of any side which has not lifted the trophy, with Maguire eager to help erase that unwanted record from the Foxes' history.

In my eyes it's a competition that I definitely want to win in my career.

Ahead of a Friday evening fifth round visit from Sheffield United, Maguire told his club's official website: "It's one of the biggest English competitions. When you're growing up and watching football, you always dream of lifting that trophy and it's a big competition.

"People play it down sometimes, but in my eyes it's a competition that I definitely want to win in my career. Hopefully, we can go on a cup run and we'll see where it takes us this year."

Meanwhile, Foxes boss Claude Puel is happy to have forward Riyad Mahrez back in the City fold following the collapse of a deadline day move to Manchester City.

The Frenchman added: "He enjoys to play and train with his team-mates and he is at a good level with no problem.

"He has come back with a smile. The story is behind him. We need to move on, for him he needs to kick on - like the team the most important thing is in front of us."

Puel also hopes to have skipper Wes Morgan available to face the Blades as he has recovered from a hamstring problem, but striker Shinji Okazaki is a definite absentee.

Leicester are available at 1/4 to reach the sixth round at the expense of the Blades, with Mahrez priced at 2/1 to score at any time, while Jamie Vardy is a 5/6 shot.
