Neil Warnock has promised to make several changes to his Cardiff City side for Monday's match against QPR following a three-match losing sequence.
The Bluebirds' promotion hopes took a dive on Friday when they were beaten 1-0 by Preston North End, Tom Clarke scoring a last-gasp winner for the visitors.
The result leaves Cardiff at 1/7 to be promoted from the Championship this season while Preston are 33/1 to go up.
"I think it is up to me now to lift the lads," said Warnock afterwards. "I've got to smarten it up, do things and change things and make sure we don't feel sorry for ourselves.
"We won't get down and we'll get on with it, but I've got to do something in the next few days to give them a lift because it is difficult losing three on the trot.
"We'll have a good following [at QPR] on Monday and the lads will be ready when I'm finished with them because we're better than that."
Since beating Hull City 1-0 a fortnight ago, Warnock's team have lost 2-0 at Bolton Wanderers and 4-2 at home to Fulham before the setback against Alex Neil's side.
