Fulham head coach Slavisa Jokanovic was pleased with the performance of loan signing Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 2-0 home win over Nottingham Forest.
The 23-year-old Serb joined the Cottagers until the end of the season after falling out of favour at Newcastle United and made his debut for Fulham as a second-half substitute on Saturday.
And his impact was welcomed by compatriot Jokanovic, who told the club's official website: "He showed he's a strong man. He brings a physical presence to the pitch.
"This is that extra quality we expect he can bring to our team."
The win for the Cottagers was their fifth consecutive Championship victory, with the Londoners moving up to fifth place in the table on the back of their fine run of form.
They can now be backed at 4/6 to gain promotion this season, with Cardiff City 1/7 and Aston Villa 11/10.
Meanwhile, Mitrovic has also been offered hope that he could still have a future with parent club Newcastle next season.
Magpies head coach Rafa Benitez told the local media: "It was clear that he wanted and needed to play games. Now he has an opportunity and hopefully he'll score 25 goals.
"We'll be happy with that, he'll have more value. He will come here and say 'I'm a new player, you have to trust me because I've scored 25 goals'. Fine, no problem."
