Fulham loan striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is adamant that his side remain right in the hunt for automatic promotion from the Championship this season.

Mitrovic was among the goals as the Cottagers made it 12 league games without defeat by inflicting a 2-0 loss on leaders Wolves at Craven Cottage, with Fulham currently inside the play-off zone.

There's a lot of games to play until the end of the season and we'll fight for second place.

However, Newcastle United frontman Mitrovic believes that second place behind Wolves is still very much up for grabs, with Cardiff City currently occupying that position.

He told the clubs official website: "I think everybody since last season is scared of Fulham - the way we play I can say nobody likes it, because we play with a lot of possession and we create a lot of chances every game.

"So, I think any team in the Championship doesn't like to play against Fulham.

"Twelve games unbeaten is an important thing for the confidence and mentality of this team, as we look forward and try to win every game.

"There's a lot of games to play until the end of the season and we'll fight for second place."

Fulham are available at 4/6 to be promoted this season, with Aston Villa priced at 11/10 and Derby County 12121/1.

The Cottagers made the play-offs last season, only to be edged out 2-1 on aggregate by Reading in the semi-finals.
