Sunderland manager Chris Coleman signed four new players on Wednesday in an attempt to lift the Black Cats clear of the Championship relegation zone.
Ashley Fletcher moves to the Stadium of Light on loan from Middlesbrough while goalkeeper Lee Camp arrives at the club from Cardiff City on a temporary basis.
Coleman said of the 33-year-old former Northern Ireland international: "Lee is a huge personality who has been there and done it at this level.
"He's an experienced goalkeeper and has been here before with Rotherham, so knows what it takes to get us where we belong."
Fletcher joined Middlesbrough last summer from West Ham United.
In addition Ovie Ejaria moves to the Championship strugglers on loan from Liverpool and Connor Shields has put pen to paper on an 18-month deal after impressing last week when on trial with the club.
Coleman signed Kazenga LuaLua from Brighton earlier in the month and allowed Mika and James Vaughan to leave for pastures new three weeks ago.
Didier Ndong joined Watford on loan until the end of the season on transfer deadline day while Lewis Grabban ended his loan spell on Wearside from Bournemouth in December after enjoying a productive first half of the season with Sunderland.
Sunderland are 1/1000 to be relegated from the Championship this season while Hull City are 500/1 to go down and Burton Albion can be backed at 2/9.
