Bruce ready for Wolves challenge
Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is confident his side can cause Wolves problems when the pair meet on Saturday evening.
Villa head into the game third in the table and have won nine of their last 11 in the Championship to surge into the promotion race.
However, Wolves have been the team to beat all season and currently sit six points clear of Cardiff, with Villa four adrift of the Bluebirds.
The Clarets were excellent in winning 3-0 at Sunderland on Tuesday and their result was matched by Nuno Espirito Santo's side who outclassed Leeds.
I hope we can cause them a threat too.Steve Bruce
With both teams in such good form, there could be fireworks on Saturday evening, while there will also be no shortage of passion in the stands, with just 16 miles separating the clubs.
Wolves won 2-0 when the pair met at Molineux and Bruce admits his side were caught out by their opponents' classy counter-attacking.
The 57-year-old admits his team struggled to handle their opponents earlier in the campaign but after improving so much in recent months, sees no reason why they cannot trouble their West Midlands rivals.
He said: "We got caught too often on the counter-attack, they are a very good players on the break who have played at the highest level.
"We will have to guard against getting caught on the counter.
"We have people in the team that can score goals and I hope we can cause them a threat too."
The Villans are 23/10 to win on Saturday, with the draw 11/5 and Wolves 29/20.
Villa are 2/1 to be promoted.
