Borussia Dortmund loan striker Michy Batshuayi says he is thriving in the positive atmosphere surrounding him at the Bundesliga club.
The 24-year-old Belgium international has made a flying start to his time in Germany, scoring five times in his first three games for BVB since moving from Chelsea to try and secure more regular first-team football.
It's perfect here and I'm trusted by everyone.Michy Batshuayi
And Batshuayi clearly feels more valued at Dortmund than he did at Stamford Bridge, where he netted ten times in the first half of the season despite limited opportunities, having joined the Blues from Marseille in the summer of 2016.
He told Sporza: "At Chelsea I didn't have it easy. By contrast, it's going really well here with my team-mates and the fans. I was really welcomed - confidence is very, very important for a footballer.
"Sitting on the bench, scoring a goal and then being back on the bench is quite difficult to deal with for an attacker.
"As a young player, you need a lot of playing time to evolve. It's perfect here and I'm trusted by everyone."
Two of Batshuayi's goals for Dortmund came in a 3-2 home win over Italian outfit Atalanta in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie.
BVB can be backed at 1212/1 to win the Europa League this season, with RB Leipzig priced at 1212/1 and Arsenal available at 12121/1.
