Adelaide United keeper Paul Izzo has urged his side to be on their guard against complacency ahead of the home clash with Central Coast.
United have won their last two games to climb up to fourth spot in the table, and will be expected to account for a Mariners side who are next to bottom.
But Izzo says he knows from his own time in Gosford that Central Coast will be targeting a victory at Coopers Stadium, and the Reds will have to be at their best.
Marco Kurz's men can consolidate their place in the table with a victory as they're two points clear of fifth-placed Melbourne Victory and have a game in hand.
I know what their goals were this season and I think finals football was the absolute bare minimum.Paul Izzo
A win would also bring them within two points of Melbourne City in third spot, so Izzo says it's important Adelaide focus against a Mariners side without a win in ten games.
"I know they're hungry," added the keeper. "From experience I know what their goals were this season and I think finals football was the absolute bare minimum.
"And obviously right now they're not on track but it's still very possible if they get a good run."
Izzo said of the Mariners: "They've come to Adelaide before and got points against us and we have to be wary of that. And at the same time we have to be wary of ourselves because it's a big opportunity to push up."
United have beaten Central Coast in both their previous meetings this season, most recently their 1-0 home success on Boxing Day.
Adelaide are 33/1 to win the Grand Final.
The Reds are 8/11 to beat the Mariners, who are 4/1 with the draw 13/5.
