Four more departures from Roar
Brisbane Roar have let four more players leave the club following the end of the season.
Manuel Arana is one of the latest quartet to depart, adding to a group who had already left - with Jamie Maclaren, Brandon Borrello and Thomas Broich having headed out at season's end.
Arana and three more players were not offered new contracts by the Roar - Cameron Crestani, Joey Katebian and Nathan Konstandopoulos.
Arana, who had joined from Mallorca last year, did not score in his 18 appearances for Brisbane.
Borrello has signed for 2.Bundesliga side FC Kaiserslautern and 23-year-old Maclaren is expected to head in the same direction, while Roar club legend Broich announced his exit from the three-time A-League champions in April.
Brisbane managing director Mark Kingsman said he wished all the departing players the best for the future.
Meanwhile, five players have left Adelaide United in the wake of the exit of Guillermo Amor as coach.
Attacker Sergio Cirio, defender Dylan McGowan and three other fringe A-League players have been let go.
McGowan has signed with Portuguese club Pacos Ferreira, while Cirio and fringe players George Mells, John Hall and Jesse Makarounas won't be offered new contracts by the Reds, regardless of who inherits the squad from Amor.
The Spaniard left at the end of a disappointing second season in charge, having guided United to the double of Premier's Plate and championship in his debut campaign.
Captain Eugene Galekovic, midfielder Marcelo Carrusca and defender Iacappo La Rocca are also weighing up their futures at the club.
The new Reds coach has been left to decide the futures of off-contract players including South Korean midfielder Kim Jae-Sung, Eli Babalj, Marc Marino and Mark Ochieng.
