Bobo to stay with Sky Blues
Sydney FC have retained Brazilian ace Bobo for another season under new coach Steve Corica.
The striker has agreed terms on a new deal in an effort to challenge his own A-League scoring record.
When he passed the 18-goal mark last season, in what was his second campaign with the Sky Blues, he triggered a clause guaranteeing him the same terms for next season.
The club have improved on those terms to retain him for their tilt at a third consecutive premiership.
Bobo set the Golden Boot record in the competition with 27 goals in 27 games last season.

Corica said: "There is no doubt Bobo is among the greatest strikers to have appeared in the A-League and sits only behind Alex Brosque as Sydney FC's all-time leading scorer.
"His character off the pitch is a great positive and he's also a great man to have around the club. I'm looking forward to working with him again."
The striker said: "Next season will be another huge challenge and I believe an exciting journey for the club."
The Sky Blues have already re-signed Serbian playmaker Milos Ninkovic, while reigning Johnny Warren Medallist Adrian Mierzejewski remains on contract.
It will be Corica's first campaign in charge after he succeeded Graham Arnold, who is to become Australia's coach following the World Cup.
The Sky Blues set an A-League points record when the won the Premier's Plate in Bobo's first season with the club in 2016-17.
They retained that trophy comfortably last season, but failed to win a second consecutive championship as they lost in the semi-final at home to eventual champions Melbourne Victory.
