Rob Cross hopes that playing Michael van Gerwen in the semi-finals will prove to be an advantage in the Premier League Play-Offs at the O2 Arena.
Reigning PDC world champion Cross took out Van Gerwen on his way to the world title earlier this year and thinks that facing MVG in the last four will be slightly easier than having to take on the Dutchman in the final.

He told Sky Sports: "I think it's better to place Michael first, it's the beginning of the evening and I am going to feel fresher.
"Later on you could throw a few wobblers in and you can't do that against Michael, so I will come out and be at my sharpest.
"There's two more games. I go into those games and empty the tank, whatever I've got left will go into them."
Cross is priced at 4/1 to defeat Van Gerwen and is 18/1 to claim a 10-8 victory, with the Englishman 7/1 to go all the way and claim the Premier League title.
Meanwhile, Van Gerwen is full of confidence as he chases a third consecutive Premier League crown, having reached the final in each of the last five years.
He added on the official PDC website: "I'm feeling quite confident ahead of my game with Rob.
"He's not in the best form of his life, he's not got that edge to him that he had in the World Championship when he beat me, but you always have to be careful with him because he is a danger.
"I need to make sure I keep doing what is good for me, I have just one thing on my mind - to beat them all."
