South Africa hailed over ODI success
Faf du Plessis' South Africa have been congratulated for their away win over Sri Lanka that has seen them close on second-placed India in the International Cricket Council's rankings.
Cricket South Africa heaped praise on winning their five-match ODI Series in the fastest possible manner after clinching their third straight victory by an imposing margin of 78 runs at Pallekele on Sunday.
"Congratulations to captain Faf du Plessis, head coach Ottis Gibson and all the players and support staff," said CSA chief executive Thabang Moroe.

"This performance is one that augurs extremely well for our chances at next year's ICC World Cup and shows that our preparation and planning is right on target.
"The margins of victory have been extremely convincing and have been the result of good all-round performances with both bat and ball.
"We have an excellent mix of youth and experience in the squad and the fact that our bowling attack has little and in some cases no experience of playing on the sub-continent and have still dominated the Sri Lankan batting throughout the series has been most impressive."
Moroe added: "A special word of congratulations is due to Reeza Hendricks who became the third South African after Colin Ingram and Temba Bavuma to score a century on ODI debut. It is encouraging to see a new comer grabbing the opportunity offered."
South Africa are 4/7 to win Wednesday's fourth game to take a 4-0 lead, while Sri Lanka are available at 11/8 to pull one back.
