Mayweather confident of success
Floyd Mayweather insists his bout with Conor McGregor in Las Vegas on Saturday night will not go the distance.
The Irishman claimed he had never seen Mayweather in worse physical shape but the American is confident he will easily win the fight.
McGregor has weighed in at 153lbs for Saturday's 154lb fight, with Mayweather 149.5lbs.
"He looks blown out, full of water," said McGregor. "That's the worst shape I've ever seen him in. I am going to breeze through him, trust me."
The 29-year-old added: "Look at me, I am in peak physical condition."
Mayweather, who has won all 49 of his fights, but has been tempted out of retirement for one last bout, said: "I know what it takes when it's a fight of this magnitude.
"Weight doesn't win fights, fighting wins fights. It won't go the distance, mark my words. This will be Conor McGregor's last fight also."
The latest odds have Mayweather at 4/15 to win the fight while McGregor is 3/1 to emerge victorious. The odds on the bout going the distance are 5/2.
