Frampton looks beyond Santa Cruz
Carl Frampton wants to face IBF world title holder Lee Selby at Belfast's Windsor Park if he successfully defends his WBA featherweight crown against Leo Santa Cruz.
The Northern Irishman faces a rematch with Santa Cruz, who he overcame on points to claim his WBA title last summer.
Frampton will take on Mexican Santa Cruz at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday night in a clash that is scheduled to start at around 4am on Sunday morning for viewers in the UK and Ireland.
Frampton is 4/7 to win the fight by any method or 5/4 to secure a victory by decision or technical decision, while Santa Cruz can be backed at 6/4 to win.
Selby defends his own title against Jonathan Barros on the undercard and the Welshman is keen for a potential meeting with Frampton to take place in Cardiff.
However, the undefeated 29-year-old feels if he overcomes Santa Cruz he should be the one to pick the venue and Windsor Park is his top choice.
"That's the dream, to fight at Windsor Park," Frampton told the BBC.
"I can retire a happy man if I defend a title at Windsor Park.
"The Principality [Stadium, in Cardiff] is a great stadium but I want to fight in Belfast and I think I'll be in a position after this fight, after beating Leo Santa Cruz, I'll be the one calling the shots."
