DeGale puts his IBF super-middleweight crown on the line as he bids to claim Jack's WBC title.
The 30-year-old Briton is confident he can secure a win, and he believes a victory will raise his profile and help him cement his boxing legacy.
He told the BBC: "This is the moment. I can't wait to return to the UK as a unified world champion."
He added: "This is a great fight for boxing and it's going to raise my appeal all over the world."
DeGale has just one loss in a 24 fight career, with 14 of his victories coming inside the distance.
Sweden's Jack, 33, has also lost once and he also has two draws on his record, including in his previous fight against Lucian Bute.
DeGale is 3/10 to secure a win by any method or 4/6 to win by decision or technical decision, while Jack is 5/2 to claim what would be a 21st career victory.
