Canelo set for Golovkin meeting
Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez will take on Gennady Golovkin in a huge middleweight clash in September.
Canelo secured a unanimous decision win over fellow Mexican Julio Chavez Jr on Saturday night and it was confirmed following the victory he will meet Golovkin in September.
There have been calls for the pair to face off for some time and promoter Oscar De La Hoya confirmed an agreement is now in place.
Kazakh Golovkin will put his WBA, WBC, IBF and IBO middleweight titles on the line in September.
Canelo is 13/8 to secure a win and Golovkin can be backed at 8/15 to come out on top.
The Mexican has one defeat on his record after being outpointed by Floyd Mayweather Jr in 2013, while Golovkin is unbeaten in 37 fights, with 33 wins coming by knock out.
