Horseman Michael Stanley says he has high hopes for Soho Tribeca ahead of his assignment at Tabcorp Park, Menangle on Saturday night.
Stanley and Soho Tribeca have made the trip from Victoria and will be looking to build on his good form when he contests a Miracle Mile heat.
The five-year-old won the Western Australia Cup a month ago, before switching to Stanley's stable for the east coast campaign, and kicked off with a solid second in the A G Hunter Cup at Melton a fortnight ago.
Stanley believes Soho Tribeca has improved after that outing and has high hopes for the weekend.
"I worked him yesterday and he felt enormous," Stanley said. "He's been training the house down and hasn't missed an oat in between. He couldn't be in better shape going into the heat."
Not only is Soho Tribeca in great shape, Stanley's confidence has been bolstered by the draw, with the gelding receiving barrier six.
Soho Tribeca slots into four with the removal of the emergencies, and Stanley could not be much happier.
"It's a good draw and hopefully gives him the chance to settle in a good position early," Stanley added. "The options are there from that draw.
"There's a bit of speed inside him, so we'll have to see what happens at the start."
