Dave Chisnall was a happy man after claiming two victories in Belfast on Night 12 of the Premier League to reignite his play-off hopes.

Chisnall opened the evening with a 7-3 victory over two-time world champion Adrian Lewis, before rounding off the action in the SSE Arena with a 7-2 triumph over Phil Taylor.

I'm in with a shout and if I can keep playing like I have tonight.

The double success moved Chisnall to within two points of the all-important top four, with three nights of the regular season to go.

And former BDO world championship finalist Chisnall is full of confidence, although his next assignment is a clash with table-topper and defending champion Michael van Gerwen in Birmingham next week.

The Englishman told the official PDC website: "It's been a great night. I'm very pleased with how it's gone and I'm happy to have got the four points.

"I've been playing well and hitting lots of 180s, but in the last two weeks I've not hit the doubles at the crucial times and today I did.

"I'm in with a shout and if I can keep playing like I have tonight, then there's no reason I can't make it into the top four."

The other winners on Night 12 were Van Gerwen, who defeated fellow Dutchman Raymond van Barneveld 7-2, Taylor - who saw off Gary Anderson 7-4 - and Peter Wright, who was a 7-3 winner over James Wade.

Van Gerwen, Wright, Anderson and Van Barneveld currently occupy the four play-off places, but all eight players left in the competition are in contention for Finals Night at the O2 Arena in London next month.

Van Gerwen is 8/15 to retain his Premier League title, with Van Barneveld priced at 1212/1 and Wright available at 4/1.
