Bears host Texans
The Chicago Bears picked up their sixth consecutive victory with a rout of the Tennessee Titans and now return to Soldier Field next Sunday for the visit of the Houston Texans.
The Bears jumped to an early 28-2 first quarter lead over the Titans at LP Field in Nashville and cruised to the 51-20 with Jay Cutler throwing for 229 yards on 19-of-26 passing and Matt Forte went over 100 yards on the ground. Brandon Marshall scored three times and Brian Urlacher ran an interception back 46 yards for a touchdown in the one-sided affair that leaves Chicago two games ahead of the Green Bay Packers in the loss column in the NFC North. The Packers, the only side to defeat the Bears this season, don't play Chicago again until Week 15 of the regular season.
Green Bay moved into their bye week this upcoming weekend with a four-game winning streak after defeating the Arizona Cardinals 31-17 at Lambeau Field. Aaron Rodgers was just 14-of-30 on the day for 218 yards, but threw four scores including a couple to wide receiver Randall Cobb.
Minnesota and Detroit meet next week with the two sides going in different directions. The Vikings have lost their last couple of games to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks while the Lions beat the Seahawks and easily knocked off the Jaguars in Jacksonville this weekend. Mikel Leshoure, a second year running back out of Illinois, scored three times in the second quarter as the Lions cruised at EverBank Field.
The Bears are 1000/1 to win the Super Bowl while the Texans are 80/1.
