The Brooklyn Nets conclude their four-game home stand on Tuesday evening when the New York Knicks make the short trip to the Barclays Center.

The Nets are 10/11 to win in the point spread (+3), while the Knicks (-3) can be backed at 10/11.

The only undefeated side at home in the league with an 8-0 mark, the Knicks become a much more pedestrian 7-5 when they hit the road, even when that's just six miles directly to the south. Thursday New York hosts the Los Angeles Lakers to start a six-game home stand that also includes a return visit from the Nets and games against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets, Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Before LA gets to Madison Square Garden they first stop in Cleveland on Monday evening. Losers of five in a row, the Cavs are expected to  see the return of Kyrie Irving who has missed the last nine games. Not coincidently Cleveland is 1-9 over their past 10 outings and may fancy their chances against a Lakers side that is just 2-6 on the road.

Monday the defending champion Miami Heat saw off the Atlanta Hawks 101-92 at the American Airlines Arena in South Florida. A half game behind the Knicks in the race for the top seed in the Eastern Conference, the win also gave the Heat a game and a half cushion between themselves and Atlanta in the Southeast Division.

Also picking up the win were the Philadelphia 76ers who saw off the Detroit Pistons 104-97 at the Wells Fargo Center and now await the arrival of the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
