Lakers and Nets clash in Brooklyn

The Los Angeles Lakers continue their seven-game road swing at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Tuesday when they face the Nets.

Brook Lopez will look to help the Nets to victory over the Lakers.

One-point winners over the Detroit Pistons last time out at The Palace of Auburn Hills, without the injured Dwight Howard, LA remains three and a half games adrift of a post-season place as they chase the Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets in the Western Conference.

Brooklyn has slowed down from their fast start under interim head coach P.J. Carlesimo, but is still 6-4 in their past 10 outings and is coming of Friday's 93-89 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Gerald Wallace scored just six points for the Nets, but grabbed 13 rebounds and had a game-high +8 plus/minus on the evening.

In Houston the Golden State Warriors have a chance to close the gap on the reeling Los Angeles Clippers in the Pacific Division race.

Just two and a half games back after the Clippers lost their third in a row on Monday, the game is the first of four on the road as the Warriors also visit Oklahoma City, Memphis and Dallas to play the Thunder, Grizzlies and Mavericks, before returning to the Oracle Arena in Oakland to host the Rockets one week from today.

Stephen Curry returned from his chronic right ankle injury on Saturday to lead Golden State to a 20-point triumph over the visiting Phoenix Suns.

The former Davidson star was 11-of-20 from the floor including 6-of-10 from beyond the arc in a 29-point performance.

The Lakers are 10000/1 to win the NBA Championship, with the Heat 3/4.
