Kings look to snap three-game slide
The 7-15 Sacramento Kings host the Denver Nuggets on Sunday afternoon in Northern California.
Losers of three-straight, the Kings find themselves anchored to the foot of the Pacific Division, nine and a half games behind the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Kings are now 6000/1 to win the Western Conference, while LA Clippers are 7500/1 to win the conference.
Friday the Kings lost by 10 to the Oklahoma City Thunder to conclude their four-game road trip and after Sunday's visit
from the Nuggets, Sacramento is straight back into action on Monday traveling down to the US Airways Center in Phoenix to visit the Suns.
Also in action on Monday will be the Clippers who visit The Palace of Auburn Hills to play the Detroit Pistons. This, after crushing the Milwaukee Bucks 111-85 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Saturday.
Matt Barnes came off the bench for a game-high 21 points, hitting 8-of-10 from the field in 29 minutes of work and that helped LA to a 53% shooting night. It was a ninth consecutive victory for the Clippers who lead the Golden State Warriors by a game and a half.
The Warriors, one of only two sides with double digit wins on the road this year, the other being the San Antonio Spurs, arrive back at the Oracle Arena in Oakland after an impressive 6-1 Eastern Conference swing.
Saturday the Atlanta Hawks were no match for Golden State who were led by the double-doubles of David Lee and Stephen Curry and a useful 19 points from Harrison Barnes. The Warriors rest up until Tuesday when the New Orleans Hornets are the visitors.
