Andy Murray is looking forward to playing in the Shanghai Masters later this month after easing to victory over Donald Young in the final of the Thailand Open.

The world number four cruised to a 6-2 6-0 victory over the American, who is ranked at 55 in the world, to secure his third title of the season.

Murray needed only 48 minutes to add the Bangkok title to his victories at Queen's in June and the Cincinnati Masters two months later.

Rafael Nadal is 10/11 to win in Tokyo next week while Murray is 13/8.

The 24-year-old Scot said after his success: "I just played really well. Towards the end of the first set he started to play a bit better, but once I got up in the second I hardly made any mistakes.

"In terms of the way I'm playing it's very good to get off to a start like that on this stretch and hopefully I can continue that through Shanghai. It's a very good start."
