Del Potro ready for Isner barrage
Top seed Juan Martin del Potro admits he faces a tough task in the final of the Citi Open against the big-serving and in-form John Isner.
The Argentinian, who was only beaten after a thrilling five-set encounter by Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon just over a month ago, booked a place in Sunday's final by beating Tommy Haas 7-6 6-3 in the semi-finals.

Del Potro was losing 4-1 in the first set to the veteran German player before a rain delay halted proceedings in Washington and, when play resumed, he hit back to take the set on a tie-break and from then on never looked back.
"I was down in the beginning, but I think the rain helped me to come back in the first set," he admitted afterwards. "I was lucky in that moment, but in the end I played so solid.
"Against Isner, here in the United States, [on] hard courts, and with his serve, it's going to be a really terrible match for me but I will try to return some serves and play my game. Being in the final means a lot to me."
Meanwhile, American number one Isner is also expecting a tight final, saying: "He obviously serves very well, but he returns exceptionally well...he just crushes the ball from the baseline."
Isner is 13/2 to win the match in three sets while Del Potro is available at 8/11 to triumph in two sets.
