Saha hopes to lift Lazio

Former Everton, Manchester United and Fulham striker Louis Saha hopes to make his Lazio debut against Napoli on Saturday after completing his move to the Serie A side.

Louis Saha left Everton just over 12 months ago.

The 34-year-old French forward had been without a club after having his contract with Sunderland cancelled and had been linked with a move to the Middle East.

Saha failed to start a Premier League match for the Black Cats or score a goal, although he did make 11 appearances from the substitute's bench.

However, he has penned a deal with Lazio until at least the end of the season and will provide cover for Miroslav Klose while the German striker spends the next two months on the sidelines through injury.

"I am very happy to be here at this big club," said Saha.

"I have found a great group and working with them will be a real pleasure for me. I want to give my best. I am here to help the team during this injury (to Miroslav Klose) and I'm happy to do it. I know on Saturday it will be a big game against Napoli and I am here to help."

Lazio are available at 1212/1 to win this season's Serie A title and 1212/1 to clinch the Europa League. Lazio can be backed at 22/1 to beat Napoli 3-1 this weekend.
