Pato linked with Milan exit

Alexandre Pato may be leaving AC Milan in January after vice-president Adriano Galliani confirmed he had received a bid from an unnamed club for the Brazilian striker.

Pato has been linked with a move to Corinthians while another Brazilian side, Santos, are believed to be keen to sign the former Manchester City and Real Madrid striker Robinho, who is also currently at the San Siro.

If both Robinho and Pato leave, we will only buy one striker because we believe the right number of strikers should be five.

Galliano told the Corriere dello Sport: "Milan have received an offer for Pato. Meanwhile, I am doing everything in my power to keep Robinho. I don't know if I will succeed, but I will use all my powers of persuasion."

Milan, who have been linked with Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli, have been drawn against Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League. The Rossoneri are 1212/1 to win European football's most prestigious competition while they are 100/1 to clinch the Serie A title.

Galliano added: "If both Robinho and Pato leave, we will only buy one striker because we believe the right number of strikers should be five.

"Is (Didier) Drogba possible? No. (Javier) Pastore? No, because we've asked Paris St Germain and they won't let him go."
