Lloris demands Spurs response

Hugo Lloris has called on his Tottenham team-mates to show a big response against Arsenal after a terrible week for the club.

Spurs slumped to a heavy defeat in the Premier League at Chelsea last weekend before crashing to a 3-1 home loss to Benfica in the first leg of their last-16 Europa League clash at White Hart Lane on Thursday.

Recent results have piled the pressure on boss Tim Sherwood and his side are now 66/1 to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League this season and 1212/1 to win the Europa League outright.

It's a big game and I hope we're going to find our rhythm in front of the fans to put on a big performance.

France international goalkeeper Lloris said: "We need to have a big response all together as a team in front of our fans. It's very important.

"The first thing is it's a derby and we have to win it, and the second is we need the points to hope for something more than fifth place.

"We need to find momentum quickly in the game. We must try to make good decisions, make good passes and show good movement from the beginning of the game until the end.

"We will fight and fight as a team. It's a big game and I hope we're going to find our rhythm in front of the fans to put on a big performance."

Spurs are 3/1 to keep a clean sheet in a match they can be backed at 18/1 to win 2-0.

Arsenal will be without Germany international Mesut Ozil, who sustained a hamstring injury in the midweek Champions League draw at Bayern Munich, while Aaron Ramsey misses out with his troublesome thigh problem.

Jack Wilshere (foot) and Theo Walcott (knee) also remain sidelined and Kieran Gibbs (calf) is doubtful.

Spurs have doubts over Kyle Walker and Sandro, while Mousa Dembele is struggling to recover from a hamstring injury. Etienne Capoue (ankle), Vlad Chiriches (back) and Michael Dawson (hamstring) are all sidelined.
