Pearce calls for Campbell
Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell has been named in the England squad for the friendly international against the Netherlands at Wembley next Wednesday.
Campbell is one of two uncapped players given the nod by caretaker coach Stuart Pearce, with Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley also included in the 25-man party.
Manchester City's versatile defender Micah Richards also comes in out of the cold, having been omitted from several squads under former boss Fabio Capello.
West Ham goalkeeper Robert Green also returns to the fold, having been named alongside Scott Carson as back-up to Joe Hart.
There are no places for Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard or former captain John Terry, with Liverpool's Steven Gerrard widely expected to lead his country out at Wembley.
England are 2/1 to win the game against the beaten 2010 World Cup finalists, with the draw 2/1 and a Dutch victory 13/8.
Pearce told a press conference after naming his squad: "It's important we get one or two young faces in and see if they can handle a game of this magnitude."
