England Twenty20 stars Alex Hales and Luke Wright are among the international brigade who have signed up for the Bangladesh Premier League.

Hales, who top-scored for England in a five-wicket defeat to India on Thursday, is scheduled to turn out for Duronto Rajshahi, while Wright - who is due to fly back to Australia to complete his Big Bash League commitments with Melbourne Stars after the second match against India on Saturday - has been snapped up by Dhaka Gladiators.

England are 11/8 to win the second Twenty20 clash while India can be backed at 4/7 to make it 2-0 in the series.

"I am very excited to be representing Rajshahi," Hales said, after a 35-ball 56 in Pune.

England outcasts Phil Mustard and Kabir Ali will represent Barisal Burners and another of those not currently in favour, Ravi Bopara, is to team up with Surrey's enterprising young batsman Jason Roy at Chittagong Kings.

However, the most powerful of the seven teams appears to be reigning champions Dhaka.

I am very excited to be representing Rajshahi.

In addition to Wright, their rather large English contingent also boasts 20-over specialist Owais Shah, Leicestershire's Josh Cobb, Sussex left-armer Chris Liddle and Kent veteran Darren Stevens, with global names Shakib Al Hasan, Shahid Afridi and Tillakaratne Dilshan also featuring in their squad.

Fixtures for the second season of the Bangladesh Premier League are yet to be announced although a provisional starting date of 17th January was nominated by tournament organisers.

Meanwhile, Wright and Michael Lumb, who play for reigning Australian champions and Champions League winners Sydney Sixers, will be joined in the Big Bash League by Matt Prior after Christmas.

Prior is to replace Pakistan all-rounder Azhar Mahmood in bottom-placed Sydney Thunder's plans. Sydney Sixers can be backed at 1212/1 to win this season's Big Bash League.
